3 Developer Toolkit
January 22nd, 2026 The Developer Toolkit is built-in to BEAR and accessible by any user with either of the following RBAC roles:
- bear: Root access
- bear: Developer toolkit
The Developer Toolkit can be highly destructive and permits direct manipulation of live application packages including the base BEAR package. No user should be granted access to either the root user or have the ROLE role on a production system. 3.1 Developer Toolkit Documentation
