2.3 Installation

ACHE has the single most easy and hands off installation process of any Linux distribution. Ensure that the host system meets the minimum system requirements and has a single system disk.
Even a lightweight appliance can be mission critical. The primary single boot disk should be a hardware RAID1 device to ensure resiliency.
- Configure the boot order of the BIOS to select either an optical drive or USB media (whichever type of installation media you created).
- Insert the DVD or USB media to the computer.
- Power on/Reboot the computer.
That is all! If the boot order and device was configured correctly in the BIOS, you should see this screen shortly after boot:
This indicates that the boot media was recognised. ACHE will automatically move on from this screen after a few seconds and install the system. There are no user configurable options.
